EP100 EP150 EP200 Skirt Conveyor Belt
Skirt conveyor belts are categorized into two types: those equipped with skirts only and those integrated with both skirts and clapboards. This type of conveyor belt enables the continuous transportation of various bulk materials at any inclination angle ranging from 0 to 90 degrees. It boasts a large conveying inclination, broad application scope, and compact footprint.
Notable features include no material transfer points, reduced civil engineering costs, low maintenance expenses, and high conveying capacity. It effectively achieves conveying angles that ordinary conveyor belts or patterned conveyor belts cannot support. Additionally, the corrugated sidewall conveyor belt can be customized into a complete conveying system per specific requirements, eliminating the need for intermittent conveying lifting systems and complex conveying setups.
1. Maintenance and instructions
1)During transportation and storage, conveyor belts must be kept clean. They should be protected from direct sunlight, rain and snow, and contact with acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents and other corrosive substances shall be avoided. Meanwhile, the conveyor belts shall be kept at a distance of no less than 1 meter from heating equipment.
2)The storage environment shall maintain a temperature range of -18℃ to 40℃, with a relative humidity of 50% to 80%RH.
3)The products must be stored in rolled form without folding during the storage period. In addition, the conveyor belts shall be turned over every three months during storage.
4)Conveyor belts of different types and specifications are not compatible for connection. The joints are preferably connected by adhesive bonding.
5)The type, structure, number of plies and specifications of the conveyor belt shall be reasonably selected in accordance with the actual working conditions of use.
6)The running speed of the conveyor belt is generally not recommended to exceed 2.5 m/s. For working conditions involving materials with high lumpiness and abrasion, or the use of fixed plow-type unloading devices, a lower running speed is preferred.
7)The selection of the driving drum diameter of the conveyor, the matching between the conveyor belt ply structure and the driving/diverting drums, as well as the requirements for the drum groove angle, shall be reasonably determined in accordance with the design specifications of the conveyor system.
2. Features
With conveyor belts gaining widespread adoption in industrial production, manufacturers prioritize multiple key attributes, including diverse product varieties, high performance, lightweight design, multi-functionality, and long service life. The proper use of conveyor belts is of critical importance in industrial operations. The following precautions should be observed during application:
1) Prevent rollers from being covered by materials, which may cause rotation failure; also, stop materials from leaking and jamming between the rollers and the belt. Regularly lubricate the movable components of the conveyor belt, but ensure the belt itself remains free of oil.
2) Avoid starting the conveyor belt under load conditions.
3) Monitor the conveyor belt for deviation and take timely corrective measures.
4) If partial damage to the conveyor belt is detected, repair it promptly with artificial cotton to prevent further expansion and deterioration.
5) Keep the conveyor belt from being blocked by the frame, support columns or accumulated materials, and prevent it from being fractured or torn.
