The flame-retardant conveyor belt, also known as the whole-core flame-retardant conveyor belt, is manufactured using a whole belt core impregnated and plasticized or vulcanized with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) impregnated paste. It delivers high strength, large transportation volume, and balanced conveying performance. The belt possesses excellent flame retardant, antistatic, impact-resistant, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant properties.

This product is primarily designed for underground transportation in coal mines, and is also suitable for material handling in the metallurgical and chemical industries. The whole-core flame-retardant conveyor belt is available in two types: PVC type and PVG type.

• PVC Type: Both upper and lower covering layers use PVC cover rubber, with a single-sided adhesive thickness of ≥0.8 mm. The maximum transportation inclination angle is less than 16°.
• PVG Type: Both upper and lower covering layers use nitrile rubber and PVC, with a single-sided thickness ranging from 1.5 mm to 4.5 mm. The maximum transportation inclination angle is less than 20°.

Both types are suitable for coal mine and underground transportation applications.

Depending on the belt body strength and belt core structure, mechanical buckle connections can be adopted, achieving joint strength of 60–80% of the belt body's rated tensile strength. When glue bonding is used for the joint head, the joint strength can reach 90% of the rated tensile strength of the belt body. Various joint types are available to meet different customer requirements and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the conveying system.
